Services for both Lt. Steven Velasquez and Firefighter Michel Baik
are open to the public with full Fire Department Honors. 
Both burials / cemetery services are PRIVATE.

The Connecticut Fire Fighters Pipes and Drums will be the ONLY band.

Reception for uniformed personnel will follow at Harbor Yard.

Gravesite services/burial for both firefighters is strictly PRIVATE.  

STAGING:  All visiting fire service personnel are asked to park at Steelepointe (Stratford Avenue / Pembroke Avenue)   I-95 Southbound to exit 28, I-95 northbound to exit 29.  ALL UNIFORMED PERSONNEL are asked to park here and be bussed to 1st Church, then 2nd Church and then onto the Reception at Harbor Yard.  There is no parking available at either church.  Shuttles will run between the venues all day as well as from Harbor Yard back to Steelepointe.  Busses start shuttling to Church at 0700 hrs.

NO Fire apparatus, no outside Pipe and Drum Bands.

Light refreshments and porta-potties available at both church locations.          

The Statewide Fire Plan/Guide has been activated for Fire Station coverage within the City of Bridgeport on Friday, July 30, 2010 for the operational period of 0530 hrs to 1900 hrs.  No self-dispatching!
